what is HIIT yoga?

HIIT stands for high intensity interval training, also known as tabata or burst training. they are all similar in approach in that they are interval style workouts. HIIT workouts are timed intervals designed to be total body and super intense. with this training technique, you give your all-out, 100% effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. this type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more calories in less time.

HIIT yoga combines the philosophies of both HIIT and yoga into one workout for a truly unique routine that is a heart healthy total body regime. the HIIT. is considered a warm version of hot HIIT yoga or HIIT fusion yoga and the room is heated at 85 degrees.

the class temperature is set to 85 degrees, which is our warm version of hot HIIT yoga. and  you still need to be well hydrated before class and during. this class is suitable for all levels of practice and experience; modifications are given and weights will vary for each student.
